Singapore-based Indo-Sino Trade Limited has secured a tender to supply 50,000 tonnes of white rice to Bangladesh at US$459.22 ($593.22) a tonne, including C&F liner out. The state grains importer issued the tender late last month as part of efforts to ensure food security for the country's more than 150 million people in the wake of rising global food prices.
