SunRice says it will repoen its Deniliquin rice mill next year to help process a sharply bigger rice crop, creating 90 jobs in the process. The mill was made idle in 2008 following six years of drought that saw production fall to 18,000 tons in the year ended March 31, 2008, from 1.64 million tons in 2000-01, most of which was exported.
